At 23:59 on December 18, an earthquake of magnitude 6.2 attacked Jishishan County, Linxia Prefecture, Gansu Province. There in winter, the temperature dropped to lower than minus 10 degrees Celsius, a severe test for people’s life and health.


   On December 19, PROYA Foundation activated the emergency response mechanism at the first time, decided to donate emergency supplies; worth RMB 2 million to the disaster-stricken areas in Gansu, and cooperated with relevant departments of PROYA Cosmetics Co., Ltd. to quickly organize, allocate, purchase and transport those supplies. Overnight, the first batch of supplies were sent out from Huzhou, Zhejiang Province , and have been transported to the disaster-stricken areas in Jishishan County, Gansu Province.


   PROYA Foundation mainly purchased supplies such as halal emergency food, warm clothes, emergency tents, heating appliances, women's care kits and daily necessities to provide life support for the local victims. On December 22, all supplies have arrived in the disaster-stricken areas in Qinghai Province and Gansu Province.

   4,800 moisturizers and 22,000 plush towels were delivered to Jishishan Bonan, Dongxiang and Salar Autonomous County, Linxia Prefecture, Gansu Province.

   4,032 bags of menstrual pads and 1,500 female care kits containing menstrual pads, antibacterial underwear, warm pastes, sanitary wipes, brown sugar ginger tea and others were delivered;

   5,000 serves of instant noodles, self-cooked rice, 2,000 boxes of milk and drinking water were delivered at the nearest distribution point, and all of such supplies arrived for unloading on the evening of December 21.

   3,000 quilts and 13,200 pieces of warm clothes, including military coats, cotton-padded clothes, cotton-padded trousers, cotton slippers, wool hats and wool scarves were delivered;

   800 electric heaters and 500 emergency cold prevention tents were sent out at the nearest distribution point.
